Lian Li Liquid Cooling Wraps Up a Successful CDCC 2026

2026年06月08日

On June 5, the 12th Shanghai International Data Center Industry Exhibition (CDCC) concluded successfully at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Throughout the three-day event, Lianli Liquid Cooling (Booth N5-509) emerged as one of the most popular exhibitors, drawing crowds with its solid technical expertise and a range of innovative products.

From the bustling opening day to the steady stream of technical consultations right up to the event's close, Lianli Liquid Cooling not only showcased a comprehensive liquid cooling product portfolio—covering everything from high-performance AI clusters and large-scale intelligent computing centers to small and medium-sized server rooms—but also garnered market feedback and partnership interest that far exceeded expectations.

Three Days of Intense Activity: Booth Welcomes Over 2,000 Visitors

According to on-site staff from Lianli Liquid Cooling, the booth hosted over 2,000 professional visitors across the three-day exhibition. Nearly 3,000 sets of technical materials were distributed, and more than 150 clients expressed a clear interest in collaboration and provided their contact details. Notably, over 60% of these clients hailed from AI intelligent computing centers, infrastructure departments of major internet companies, supercomputing projects, and overseas trading firms.

"From the first day to the last, the booth was rarely quiet," said the on-site manager for Lianli Liquid Cooling. "Many clients arrived with specific requirements—such as how to rapidly retrofit existing air-cooled server clusters for liquid cooling, how to manage PUE in newly built intelligent computing centers, or how to implement liquid cooling at edge nodes cost-effectively. Our technical experts were engaged in one-on-one solution consultations almost non-stop."

Product Highlights: Retrofit Solution Most Sought-After

Cold-Plate Liquid Cooling Retrofit for 8-GPU (5090) Servers
As the exhibit generating the highest volume of inquiries, this solution attracted preliminary interest from over 80 customers during the event, spanning AI inference clusters, large-model training platforms, and university supercomputing centers. Many customers arranged on-site to have prototype units shipped to them for actual retrofit testing following the exhibition.

Key customer priorities included: no need to replace the server chassis itself; retrofit costs at just one-third of a brand-new liquid-cooled system; a 18–20°C reduction in GPU core temperatures; and a noise reduction of approximately 25dB. An Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Director from a leading autonomous driving company commented: "We have hundreds of existing air-cooled GPU servers, and heat dissipation and noise issues are becoming increasingly severe. Lianli’s retrofit solution is practically tailor-made for us."

4U 65kW In-Rack CDU
This high-power CDU secured multiple letters of intent from clients in the Middle East and Southeast Asia during the exhibition. Overseas customers showed strong interest in its fully redundant pump assembly design, 24/7 continuous operation capability, and a heat dissipation density of 65kW within a 4U form factor. Meanwhile, a major domestic computing service provider reached a preliminary cooperation agreement with Lianli, planning to adopt this CDU in bulk for their next-generation intelligent computing center projects.

4U 8kW In-Rack Liquid-to-Air CDU
The air-liquid hybrid cooling solution, designed for small-to-medium-sized server rooms and edge nodes, also garnered an impressive response. Over 50 operators of small-to-medium data centers inquired about the product, with approximately 20 explicitly stating plans to launch small-scale pilot programs next quarter. Features such as plug-and-play capability, independence from outdoor cooling sources, and support for simultaneous air and liquid cooling modes led customers to regard it as "the best entry-level choice for liquid cooling."

NVIDIA GB200/GB300 Liquid Cooling Pod: A Strategic Asset for the Next Generation
Beyond mass-production-ready products, the liquid cooling architecture solution for NVIDIA GB200 and next-generation GB300 AI chips—presented by Lianli in a dedicated session—also attracted significant attention from industry experts. According to technical staff, this solution enables a single 20-foot prefabricated modular unit to support the heat dissipation requirements of three full server racks while maintaining a PUE of under 1.15. Compared to traditional air cooling, overall energy consumption is reduced by more than 30%. Several server manufacturers and AI chip design companies have incorporated this solution into their joint testing plans, with initial prototype validation expected to be completed in the second half of this year.

Genuine Customer Feedback: Solid Technology and a Clear Implementation Path

During the exhibition, the Lian Li liquid cooling booth gathered a wealth of authentic feedback from end-users. Several key themes emerged repeatedly: controllable retrofit costs, short deployment cycles, a comprehensive product lineup, and practical, accessible technical explanations.

A technical department director from a big data center remarked: "We previously had reservations about liquid cooling, fearing that retrofitting would be overly complex and that operations and maintenance would be too demanding. Lian Li’s engineers clearly explained details such as piping design, pump redundancy, and leak detection at the booth. They also provided a step-by-step retrofit schedule and budget estimates, giving us the confidence to proceed with a pilot project."

A procurement manager from a cloud computing provider commented: "Lian Li isn't a vendor that just talks about concepts; every one of their products has clearly defined use cases and real-world implementation examples. In particular, their product range—spanning from 8kW air-liquid hybrid cooling to 65kW high-power CDUs—demonstrates a deep understanding of the needs of customers across different scales."

Post-Exhibition Actions: Prototype Testing and Solution Design Fully Underway
According to the marketing department at Lianli Liquid Cooling, the technical team will begin shipping retrofit prototypes and CDU (Coolant Distribution Unit) test units to the first batch of interested clients within one week of the exhibition's conclusion. Simultaneously, work on customized solutions for large-scale intelligent computing center clients has commenced; three to five benchmark projects are expected to enter the implementation phase by the third quarter of 2026.

Furthermore, based on customer feedback gathered during the exhibition, Lianli Liquid Cooling plans to further refine its product details. These improvements include launching CDU models with higher power density, enhancing remote monitoring capabilities for hybrid air-liquid cooling solutions, and providing multilingual technical documentation to support overseas markets.

The Era of Liquid Cooling Is Here
Although CDCC 2026 has concluded, the technical collaboration between Lianli Liquid Cooling and its clients is just beginning. From lightweight retrofitting of existing servers to high-density thermal management for new intelligent computing centers, and forward-looking preparations for next-generation AI chips, Lianli Liquid Cooling is addressing every real-world challenge of the "green computing" era with robust products and clear implementation pathways.

As a Lianli Liquid Cooling representative told a client on the final day of the exhibition: "Liquid cooling is not a gimmick; it is the essential path to solving thermal management issues in high-performance computing. Through every exhibition and every discussion regarding solutions, we aim to show clients that liquid cooling is not only viable but also highly effective and reliable—a technology they can confidently adopt."

In 2026, Lianli Liquid Cooling will continue to deepen its expertise in liquid cooling technology and accelerate product iteration and industrial-scale deployment. We look forward to seeing you at our next stop.
