Bitcoin Miner S19 pro+ Hyd.


Bitmain released the water-cooled mining machine Antminer S19 pro+ Hydro, with a hash rate as high as 198TH per second
The hash rate directly crushes all current miners. Its secret weapon is water.
The hash rate of common miners on the market is only 110 TH/s.
The energy consumption of this new mining machine is 5304W, and the energy efficiency is 21J/TH. With such a huge energy consumption, Bitmain recommends users to use their specially designed mining machine storage cabinet Antspace HK3. This container-type mining rack provides 1MW power supply, which can supply 210 sets of S19 Hyd series miners.
The powerful computing power of the more powerful S19 XP Hyd is actually simple and rude. Although the specific specifications have not been announced, it should use the same TSMC 7nm custom chip as the S19 Pro mining machine. The computing power of each chip is close to 322G, so more than 600 chips are packaged in the whole machine. Chips should be placed on 6 hashboards.
But the more hashboards there are, the more astonishing the temperature will be. Compared with the previous heat dissipation scheme using a streamlined integrated radiator and four 1.65A fans, the new mining machine adopts a specific water cooling scheme. The internal configuration has not been disclosed yet, but it is obvious that its heat dissipation effect is much better than that of the fan, and it can be packed into so many hashboards.
Bitmain expects to start shipping the S19 Pro Hyd from May 2022. Large mining farms such as Bitnile and Greenidge Generation Holding have already pre-ordered the S19 XP Hyd and S19 Pro+ Hydr. The price per miner is around $5,000. The water-cooled version of the mining machine provides higher computing power, and the price may be much higher. At the moment when the price of Bitcoin is sluggish, it is not known how many mines are willing to invest.
