Lian Li scope of supply
📦In this solution, Lian Li supplies the hydro-cooling cabinets and CDUs (Coolant Distribution Units) — the two core thermal management systems Lian Li scope. The miners themselves (WhatsMiner M63S++), primary-side heat rejection equipment (dry coolers / cooling towers), electrical substation and distribution systems, and civil works are provided by the owner or main contractor and fall outside Lian Li's equipment scope — referenced here for system integration context only.
Core hydro-cooling system configuration
Hydro-cooling cabinetLian Li scope
Standardized slot design for M63S++ hydro-cooling miner arrays, supporting rapid install/removal. Integrated distribution piping inside the cabinet; per-cabinet power density up to 150–200 kW, substantially reducing footprint.
CDU (Coolant Distribution Unit)Lian Li scope
High-flow CDU units with plate heat exchangers isolating primary/secondary loops. Mining-farm-grade redundancy (multiple units in parallel + N+1 standby), 24/7 continuous operation with automatic failover.
Miners (owner / integrator supplied)
WhatsMiner M63S++ — 478 TH/s per unit, ~10,000 W rated power consumption per manufacturer spec. Hydro-cooling block integrated within the miner, standard quick-connect interface to Lian Li cabinet.
Primary-side cold source (integration reference)
Kazakhstan's continental climate — harsh winters (below −30 °C) and dry, hot summers — offers extended free-cooling hours via dry coolers year-round, delivering a strong full-year PUE advantage. Primary-side equipment provided by the owner.
Cooling fluid
Secondary loop (CDU to cabinet) uses deionised water or low-concentration ethylene glycol, sized to local winter minimums. Recommended CDU supply temperature 35–45 °C, within the miner's wide thermal tolerance.
Farm-level monitoring
CDU operating parameters (flow, differential pressure, fluid temperature) and cabinet-level leak detection feed into a unified farm monitoring platform, enabling joint hashrate / power / thermal analysis and remote O&M.
System flow architecture
Primary mining cooling loop (Lian Li equipment closed loop)
At 100 MW scale, hydro-cooling cabinets reduce footprint by roughly 60% compared to traditional air-cooled mining racks, lowering cooling cost per unit of hashrate. CDUs use a modular parallel design — single-unit maintenance does not interrupt overall facility operation, meeting the basic availability requirement of Tier 1 standards.

60-day delivery schedule
1
Day 1 – 10
Design confirmation & production launch
Finalize cabinet specifications, CDU capacity, and redundancy configuration. Verify miner inlet/outlet interface standards and primary-side cold source interface with the owner. Launch CDU and cabinet production scheduling.
2
Day 11 – 30
Manufacturing & quality inspection
Batch production of hydro-cooling cabinets, distribution piping prefabrication, CDU unit assembly and factory acceptance testing (pressure testing, flow calibration), packing for export.
3
Day 31 – 45
International logistics
Sea/land freight to the Kazakhstan project site. In parallel, owner completes civil works, primary-side dry cooler installation, and electrical distribution to ensure equipment can be installed immediately on arrival.
4
Day 46 – 55
On-site installation & commissioning
Cabinet placement, CDU connection to primary-side piping, miner rack installation, system fill and air purge, pressure testing, flow balancing, and cabinet-by-cabinet leak detection verification.
5
Day 56 – 60
Load acceptance & handover
Miners powered on in batches under full load, CDU operating parameters verified, PUE measured, monitoring platform integration tested, documentation archived, formal project handover.
